How the pedagogy is organized
|
Pedagogy at Grenoble Ecole de Management is divided into 6 Academic and Research Departments.
A Department is a centre of resources and skills, each department groups the professors from Grenoble Ecole de Management into fields of specialization to make up the teaching and research teams.
The objective of a department is to offer both to students and professionals high quality pedagogical programmes, from the point of view of both contents and pedagogical approach.
To do this, its mission includes the definition, promotion, conception, implementation and the assessment of the teaching in its field – in close collaboration with professionals by way of scientific and pedagogical committees, mentoring, interventions and with the help of motivated and qualified teachers.
The Departments at Grenoble Ecole de Management:
Differentiated pedagogy
Differentiated pedagogy, in accordance with Grenoble Ecole de Management’s strategy which gives an important place to pedagogical innovation in its mission, aims to give students, over and above the most modern teaching and learning in management sciences, the largest choice on 7 key points:
- Teaching and learning methods (face-to-face, field experience, e-learning , etc.);
- Teaching language (English, French) ;
- The different curricula (classic, work/study programme, associative, long projects in companies, research, etc.);
- The majors (Management of Technology, Innovation, Finance, Marketing, etc.);
- The length for this teaching and learning (the schooling can be 3 years or 4 years or even 5 years) ;
- Where the teaching and learning takes place (Grenoble Ecole de Management’s campus, university partnership in France or in the world, work/study programme in companies, etc.);
- Complementary degrees to the ESC degree (dual degree with a partner university in the world, etc.).
This model places the student in the centre of teaching and learning to best respond to the demands of his personal and professional development project and the demands from companies, industries and communities.
