GGSB to offer program on new Manchester campus
GGSB is continuing to expand in the UK through its alliance with London School of Business & Finance (LSBF), and will offer its Master in International Business (MIB) in Manchester, starting September 2010.

Judith Bouvard, Dean of GGSB and born and bred Mancunian, finalised the programme which will take place on the Manchester campus of LSBF based in a listed building, Churchgate House, in the heart of Manchester.
The Financial Times top-ranked GGSB MIB program, delivered entirely in English, covers a wide range of international subjects including International Human Resource Management, International Business, Global Trade Relations, International Business Law, International Negotiation as well as the usual Management topics such as Strategy, Marketing Finance and Accounting.

The coursework is followed by a period of project based-work which can be done in a company.

The program which will attract both UK and international students will be taught by GGSB faculty who will travel to Manchester to share their expertise.

The LSBF provides campus facilities and administrative support for both faculty and students. Students studying on the Manchester campus will have access to all the facilities offered in Grenoble; on-line library, careers service etc. and will also have the opportunity to visit the main campus in Grenoble to network with other MIB students and to attend job fairs.

Roy Butcher, Dean of LSBF said: “Our relationship with GGSB continues to go from strength to strength and so expanding the delivery of the MIB program to our Manchester campus was inevitable. We look forward to enhancing our academic partnership and to nurturing more global leaders, together.”

Judith Bouvard, Dean of GGSB and Mancunian said: "With this course, we aim to provide international companies with graduates who have both international business and management skills and foreign language and cross-cultural competencies.

"As the MIB was designed to meet the challenges of the global marketplace, the course provides a truly international and multicultural learning environment, making its graduates very attractive to potential employers worldwide."

"Manchester is a natural choice for a program of this kind as it is a top choice for students due to the dynamic nature of the city and the excellent student life. The city is internationally well-known for its music scene and club culture and there is plenty of quality accommodation at rates lower than those of London."
